Kalispell OB-GYN  is currently hiring  full-time nurses!

We are in need of a licensed nurse with an RN, LPN or MA background. Our office is a fast-paced, busy, supportive and enjoyable work environment. There are 8 providers in our office that you will support on a daily basis rotating between providers as their work schedules change daily.  This is a full-time position working 35+ hours per week with benefits, paid time off and 401K.

Salary based on experience.

Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant / LPN / RN

Assist the physicians/providers with the examination and treatment of patients and perform
routine tasks required to ensure the Clinic runs smoothly.

Qualifications:
1. CMA or LPN or RN License
2. Minimum two years experience in similar position within a medical setting preferred.
3. Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
4. Knowledge of routine clinical laboratory methods and blood draws.
5. Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems.

Job Duties:
1. Escort patients from waiting room to appropriate exam room.
2. Record patient data prior to each physician visit including, but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and current medications.
3. Conduct patient assessments and obtain pertinent medical information for the physician.
4. Obtain all necessary patient records as required by physician including new patient records and previous test results.
5. Arrange for pre-authorizations.
6. Triage incoming patient telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician.
7. Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as required or directed by physician.
8. Assist provider with examinations and procedures as directed in accordance with established nursing standards.
9. Prepare and administer specified medications and injections as prescribed by the provider and allowed by licensure.
10. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of infection control procedures; strictly adhere to policies and procedures. Clean, package, sterilize, and maintain ample supply of sterilized instruments and supplies for procedures. Thoroughly clean exam rooms, counter, and table tops, per clinic policy.  Collect, package, and accurately label all specimens immediately upon receipt; forward to designated lab(s) according to established protocols.
